Other Social Activities of Interest (not sponsored by PTOEC):

A note to parents: I am a cheerleading coach for the Pride of Illinois All-star Cheer & Tumbling Gym in Collinsville, IL. One of the teams that I coach is our special needs cheer team. We are just finishing up our second season with our "Super Stars" and will begin our third season in May. I am looking to add additional athletes to our program and wanted to find out if you knew a way that I could get the word out. We are targeting athletes in the age range from 7 to 18, and if we have enough interest for older athletes we would add an additional team.

We were recently featured in the St. Louis Post Dispatch. The Super Stars compete and train right along with our able body athletes. These athletes would train in cheerleading, tumbling, motor skills, dance. Our youth that are currently involved have greatly improved in social skills, physical activities and personal self worth. Please contact me if you are interested!
