Fundraising and Volunteer Activities
CAR WASH
Fundraiser car wash held July 17 was a huge success! Almost $1300 was raised. This will help pay for expenses
incurred in Special Olympic sport activities. Everyone had a good time despite it being such a hot day. The pool and
pizza party at Rick and Trudy Effinger's house was certainly a great way to cool off and relax after so much hard work.
Thanks to everyone that helped including PTOEC members and their families, Tom Compton for playing music and giving
motorcycle rides, Sam's Club employees for all their help washing cars and holding signs and especially Rick and
Trudy Effinger for hosting the event.
